After School Clubs at Waingroves Primary School
Each half term, and in partnership with AVSSP, we hold after school sports clubs.
These are run by Miss Naylor from AVSSP on the school premises, and run from 3:15pm - 4:15pm.
This year (2025-26), we are running the following clubs:
Autumn Term:
Y3 & Y4 Handball
Y5 & Y6 Basketball
Y1 & Y2 Boxercise
Y3 & Y4 Boxercise
Spring Term:
Y1 & Y2 Netball
Y5 & Y6 Netball
Y3 & Y4 Fencing
Y5 & Y6 Fencing
Summer Term:
Y1 & Y2 Tennis
Y4 & Y4 Tennis
Y1 & Y2 Archery & Axe Throwing
Y5 & Y6 Archery & Axe Throwing
Parents are made aware of upcoming clubs via ParentHub and are asked to book via ParentPay when the booking is open. All clubs are on a first come, first served basis.
Please note, for all outdoor sports club’s children MUST be wearing trainers and appropriate joggers/leggings for the playground. Children will already be in their PE kit from PE lessons/swimming lessons during the day and no further equipment should be brought into school. However please make sure you have weather appropriate clothing for the club including a coat.
