Autumn Term 2
This half term we are going to be learning all about North America :)
We have enjoyed taking part in a scavenger hunt this afternoon and have been using a map of our school grounds to locate the States of America.
Autumn Term 1
This week we have kicked started our new topic Science Investigators with our WOW! activity. We had great fun making and exploring slime using corn flour and water. We loved playing with our slime and learnt all about Non-Newtonian liquids.
Today we have explored how we separate mixtures. We have learnt about filtration, evaporation, sieving and magnetism.
Dissolving experiments
Here we are exploring which materials will dissolve.
Making bread
As part of our topic work we learnt how yeast is used to help bread to rise. We had a great time having our own little bake off :)
Art Day
As part of our art days we learnt all about how to draw our eyes, we also learnt how to draw in perspective and then we created our own pieces of art using the skills that we had learnt.

Visiting the library
We will be going to the library every Wednesday to change our library books.
